Sgian Dubh
The sgian dubh is a small, single-edged knife that is worn as part of traditional Scottish Highland dress. Pronounced as a ‘ski-en doo’ knife, the sgian dubh blade is customarily worn by being tucked into the top of the kilt hose and positioned so that only the hilt is visible.
All of our sgian dubhs are made in Scotland and include traditional Celtic designs. We offer a wide range of sgian dubh knifes to reflect any style or aesthetic, showcasing unique features such as genuine leather handles and real gemstone hilts.
We also have a fantastic range of imitation sgian dubhs available for younger members of the party and for travel. These knifes do not actually have a blade and safely tuck into your kilt hose to give the same tasteful effect.
