Season's Hottest Trend: Tartan

Traditional, but timeless, tartan takes center stage this season hitting runways as one of the top fashion trends for autumn and winter 2013-2014. In fact, it is everywhere, the shops are stocking up and it is not an uncommon sight to see celebrities sporting tartan for formal events or even as everyday wear. However, tartan has certainly seen the runway before featuring in collections by a number of designers including Corrie Nielson and Alexander McQueen (dress worn by Sarah Jessica Parker).
