UNITED KINGDOM MAINLAND
There are three delivery services available to UK mainland customers.
Free Shipping via Royal Mail
Delivery via Royal Mail standard parcels is free. Orders shipped using this service normally arrive within 5-7 working days of the order being placed. Please note this method of shipping is not trackable, and has only basic insurance. This is recommended for smaller orders for less valuable goods. To select this shipping method please select "FREE SHIPPING" on the Delivery Information page when placing an order.Royal Mail Signed for
Deliver via Royal Mail signed for service is £5. This is a trackable method of shipping and should insure delivery in around 3-5 days of the order being placed. This delivery service is a more secure method of shipping than the royal mail standard service.
Courier Service via FedEx UK
Delivery via FedEx UK courier service is £8. This is an express delivery service which has a dedicated online tracking service (http://www.fedexuk.net). All deliveries are fully insured for any losses or damages. This delivery service is recommended for more expensive items. Delivery using this service can be completed in 1-3 working days provided products are in stock (the courier does not deliver on weekends). We do carry most of our range in stock but occasionally items sell out and stock must be replenished. OVERSEAS SHIPPING
There are three delivery services available to overseas customers.
Free Shipping via Royal Mail Standard parcelsDelivery via standard parcels is free. Please note that this method of shipping is not trackable and has only basic insurance covering smaller less expensive items.
Delivery should be completed with 1-8 weeks.
Royal Mail Airmail (£8.00)
Delivery via Royal Mail airmail can take up to 2-3 weeks depending on your location. This method of shipping is not tracked (tracked service can added at an additional cost - please contact us). Please note this service has insurance up to £39.00. This delivery service is recommended for smaller items with a value of up to £39.00.Express International Courier Delivery (£20.00)
Express courier delivery is the most secure and fastest method of international shipping.
All packages are completely covered against loss or damages and tracking information is sent automatically to you when the item is shipped.
This allows you to track the item at every stage of the delivery process.
As long as your item is in stock delivery is normally completed within 7 working days of placing the order.
Please note that this service may incur extra cost because of delivery surcharges to certain countries. We will notify customers via email if this is the case.
Customs charges
Delivery outside of the EU Import duties, and taxes custom charges and import duties may apply to deliveries to countries outside of the EU. If they apply they will need to be paid before the parcel will be released for delivery Please note that you will need to meet any additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. As customs policies vary from country to country, please contact your local Tax or Customs office for further details.
Money back Guarantee
Returns & Exchange PolicyIf you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have a 8 day cancellation period from the time you receive the goods in which you can return the goods for a refund. Please note all refunds will be minus delivery charges. In addition to the 8 day cancellation period you have a 14 day exchange period which starts the day you receive your goods. This enables you to exchange unsuitable items for items of equal value. Please note there is a return postage charge of £5 for this service (overseas customers may have to pay more for return shipping depending on their location)
All goods must be examined upon receipt and any damage or faults with the product notified to The Scotland Kilt Company immediately either by telephone or in writing.
Made to measure/bespoke items
All made to measure items (i.e. bespoke kilts) are made to each individual customers own sizes and are therefore non-refundable or returnable. Please double check all sizes before submitting an order using our measuring guide or contact us for instructions on obtaining your measurements. A refund will only be considered if the garment has a manufacturers fault.
Cancellation & Returns Process
Please follow these instructions for returning items to www.thescotlandkiltcompany.co.uk:
- Please contact us via telephone or email to let us know you will be returning an item and what you would like in exchange.
- Send the item back to us including a note with your order number and contact details, and postal order for return postage if necessary. When returning an item we strongly suggest you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office when you send an item back.
- Wait for us to contact you regarding your exchange or refund.
Unfortunately delivery and return costs will not be refunded unless the item is defective.
