Fly Plaids
A fly plaid is an added piece of tartan cloth (matching your kilt) that is thrown over the left shoulder. Traditionally, this is worn at weddings or formal dinners hanging over the Prince Charlie or Argyll Jacket and fastened just below the shoulder with a fly plaid brooch. The fly plaid can be made to measure but is typically between 36"X 36" and up to 50"X 50".
