Returns & Replacements
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have a 8 day cancellation period from the time you receive the goods in which you can return the goods for a refund. Please note all refunds will be minus delivery charges. In addition to the 8 day cancellation period you have a 14 day exchange period which starts the day you receive your goods. This enables you to exchange unsuitable items for items of equal value. Please note there is a return postage charge of £5 for this service (overseas customers may have to pay more for return shipping depending on their location)
We will only pay the return delivery charges when a product is faulty or damaged.
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on made to measure items, unless they are faulty as it is unlikely that we will be able to sell a made to measure item to another customer.
For reasons of hygiene we are unable to refund or exchange pierced jewellery.
Please follow these instructions for returning items:
- Contact us via telephone or email to let us know you will be returning an item and what you would like in exchange, please have your order number ready.
- Send the item back to us including a note with your order number and contact details, and postal order for return postage if necessary. When returning an item we strongly suggest you get a certificate of posting from the Post Office when you send an item back.
- Wait for us to contact you before returning your refund.
- Small items should be returned using 1st Class post, larger items should be sent by recorded delivery. Please keep your certificate or postage/receipt.

Product Availability
It is important to note that information about our products does not amount to an offer by us to sell the products on that basis. Delivery
Delivery will be made within 7 working days to most Mainland UK addresses. Delivery to more remote areas of the UK may take slightly longer. The Scotland Kilt Company will endeavour to deliver to you within the specified time. However, there may be instances when we cannot deliver within this time. If we realise that we cannot deliver to you within that time, we shall alert you as soon as possible to try to arrange another suitable time for delivery. The Scotland Kilt Company cannot be held responsible if any item you have ordered is impounded by or has extra duty charged on it by your local customs and excise department, therefore we recommend that you check with the Customs and Excise Department before ordering from us.
